What I don't get is why it can't run standalone on the quest2, my phone runs XPLANE just fine so what's stopping the slightly more quest2 from running it?
your phone isn't running the full xplane.... its running a VERY stripped down mobile version. THAT version could probably run on a quest, but its a mobile game with no VR support. the desktop Xplane is a lot more in depth and power hungry. It needs a pretty decent processor and GFX card to run well (mostly processor IIRC)

I find the Quest 2 to have terrible graphics! It's like looking through a screen door and shimmers of in the distance. You van barely pick out airports in VFR in the distance. I'm running a 3060TI at roughly 100 - 125 FPS normally, but VR sucks it over the link cable IMO. I have tried every tweak that I know of, bit still fairly grainy.
I'm trying to find info about VR goggles that could run xplane with RTX3060 - have you tried any other models since? Like, what do you think should be better? Resolution? Framerate? Thanks!
@@vixiki I get good Fran rates it’s just the overall resolution in the oculus I’m not impressed with. I’ve tried everything, but I feel a 3090 would be what I would buy if I did it over again. I’ve been a big fan boy out XP11, but got a free trial for MSFS2020, so I’m giving that a try and wow! The flight physics not quite there, but I feel it will be eventually.
@@CaribbeanSimPilot I eventually went for the Reverb G2 v2, and I have to say the resolution is amazing. You don't see the pixels at all. I also upgraded to RTX3070Ti and fiddled with the settings on msfs for two full days and the result is the best thing that happened in my life since I discovered... Well, we'll leave that. It's just amazing. I may never go back to monitor flying again. By the way the minimum fps I'm barely comfortable with in VR are about 40-45, so I aim for that. I lose a lot of the beauty of MSFS but it's still beyond amazing.
Can you read the GPS screens while in VR?

Hi Sue, this brush is from Germany, Feustel Pinsel. We buy not cutted brush, then I use them to fill large stripes o backgrounds. This is to make the hair brush able to easy carry and release the color. After few months we cut the top around to obtain the right shape to make large-medium lines. After weeks, we cut again the top to obtain a smaller top for more detailed and thin contours. You can find pre-cutted brushes... but they doesn't work so well the first weeks.

It's permanent... it's Ceramics. The colors are mineral oxides, (Over white glaze) then we spry a transparent glaze over the painting and cook the pieces into the kiln to 950°C
